1. Scope of Services

German Language Factory provides 1:1 language coaching and corporate-sponsored coaching services focused on functional communication in German-speaking environments.

Coaching is practice-based and results-oriented. It is not a course, certification program, or formal schooling.

2. Nature of Coaching

Coaching supports behavioral change and language participation in professional contexts.

Coaching does not constitute:

• Academic instruction
• Formal language education
• Psychological therapy
• Legal or employment advice

Client progress depends on participation, readiness, and consistent practice.

3. Engagement Structure

Individual coaching engagements are agreed upon in advance, including:

• Number of sessions
• Duration
• Payment terms

Corporate sponsorship arrangements are defined separately in writing.

4. Payments

Fees are agreed prior to engagement.

Invoices must be paid within the stated payment period.

Missed sessions without adequate notice may be charged in full (cancellation window: 24 hours).

5. Confidentiality

All individual coaching conversations are confidential.

For corporate-sponsored coaching:

• Session content remains confidential.
• Sponsors may receive structural updates (attendance, engagement status), but not personal disclosures unless explicitly agreed by the client.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials, frameworks, and practice systems provided by German Language Factory remain the intellectual property of GLF or its licensors.

Materials may not be redistributed without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

German Language Factory provides coaching services with professional care and integrity.

Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific coaching engagement, except in cases of gross negligence or legal requirement.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
